Sorbent Booms are ideally suited for the control, and clean up, of oil spills on water. They can also be used to contain and absorb large industrial hydrocarbon spills on land. Booms are constructed with a strong mesh outer sleeve encasing a poly sock skin filled with highly sorbent polypropylene. The filler will not shed, and the booms won’t sink, even when saturated with oil. A nylon rope runs through each boom – booms can be clipped together to form longer lengths.
