3M™ Tartan™ Box Sealing Tape 305 is a general purpose packaging tape used for noncritical applications, including lightweight boxes exposed to minimal distribution hazard. It uses a pressure-sensitive hot melt synthetic rubber resin adhesive on a conformable, 1.0 mil polypropylene film backing.
Tartan™ Box Sealing Tape 305 is a 1.6 mil (40 micron) light-duty polypropylene film tape with a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive that offers reliability in light weight and manual applications. It is specifically designed to withstand cold temperature applications, easy handling, and smooth dispensing by hand. It meets FDA guidelines for indirect food contact and resists ageing, weathering and UV light where important.
